justin morley
my life in a nutshell

I have thought of a great direction for this website. Technology News and comments, from a young perspective. I am going to start commenting on important technology news stories. For now, though – and this is going to be a long term project, I am going to be writing iPhone/iPod touch application reviews, complete with screenshots, and possibly an audio or video podcast for all the reviews. I am going to start writing today, and you should start seeing a steady flow of blog postings!

Stay tuned.

With the rate of my postings not being very high, I am not getting many hits. This semester, I am planning on it changing. MY first hour is web design, which means access to the internet. I’ll try to post if anything is on my mind, and if not, I won’t. I don’t want this to turn into my old blog, with posts along the lines of “7:12 AM EST: I’m sorry for not posting yesterday; I had it typed, but I never hit publish. I R STOOPIDZ. Today its so windy outside, like 459072380549 mph. NO EXAGGERATIONZ. ok wots up. nuthin? dats gud. I gotta take down my christmas countdown… ahahahhahah. I’m so lazy. I’ll post later.. l\/laybe.” Yeah. That’s not what this place is for. I started a new blog in hopes of having “editorials” and things like that, instead of a “life blog.”

But, we’ll see. Hopefully, I will be purchasing “justinmorley.com” and stick this on wordpress.org, because “justinmorley.wordpress.com” isn’t too professsional.

Before I forget,I wanted to post my schedule on here, just for fun.

First Hour: Computer Apps 2/Web Design
Second Hour: (Honors) International Relations
Third Hour: Spanish 3
Fourth Hour: Algeostat 3T
Fifth Hour: Parenting
Sixth Hour: Chemistry

This year is going to be TOUGH.

MSNBC is reporting that NBC says that Senator Clinton is moving to end bid for Presidency on Friday.. or Saturday. Now she needs to support Obama and get her supporters to do the same.

I am proud of America. What we’ve been through, we’ve managed to see the light and get out. Through the prejudices, we were able to put them behind; for what? Change. Change we can believe in. Today I am proud to say America has voted and Barack Obama is the Democratic Nominee. It’s been a long, hard fight; but we have done it. I am proud of America. The time has come. This is what we have been waiting for.

I am proud of America, and we will keep fighting for what this country needs – change.

MediaDefender DDoSing Revision3. ISP’s shaping packets. And now, Canadian border Officers checking iPods for copyright content. I need to know, when will this all end? When will it be so over the top that consumers are going to just stop recieving content because it is too dangerous? I think it will be coming soon. I think it is outrageous the time and money spent to try and stop someone who bought a DVD legally to put it on their OWN iPod for moral purposes. This is getting crazy.
I had this whole blog planned out, but I decided that what I said is enough.

As you may or may not know, I received an iPod touch for Christmas last year, and I fell in love. I’ve had some trouble with it, and so on, but that’s what I get for messing around with it. I had it stolen (but got it back..), and I almost broke the firmware, and couldn’t restore it (spent all vacation trying to fix it.. *cry*). If you don’t know what an iPod touch is, think iPhone minus phone capabilities. If you don’t know what an iPhone is, I would suggest maybe turning on the T.V, or going outside your room once in a while. Or go to the iPhone website. Throughout the months I have had some annoyances, and some things I really, really want.

Here is that list.

Syncing with Google Calendar

I have a lot going on in my life, and the touch has an excellent calendar application. The problem? I can’t sync it with gCal. <life ends>yes.</life ends>

Safari NOT Crashing!

When I surf on the internet browser, Safari, on my touch, it always, I mean ALWAYS crashes. Do you know how annoying it is to be in the middle of a twitter post and, *KABLAM*, crap, Safari crashed, again.

Watch the raw video of a confrontation between an Albuquerque police officer and a KOB Eyewitness News 4 photographer.

Like MediaDefender, this cop acted out of control, attacking a news reporter.
What is going on with the police?
